During the past few years, advocacy by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) has brought municipal governments billions of dollars in additional funding to meet their most pressing needs, yet much remains to be done. If we continue to speak with one voice, we can maintain and even expand that support.
By joining or renewing membership in FCM, municipalities are ensuring that a strong and credible municipal voice will continue advocating on their behalf.
FCM represents close to 2,000 municipalities across Canada and has been the national voice of municipal government since 1901. Through their membership in FCM, cities and communities support national advocacy efforts that benefit all municipal governments.
