Under the direction of the Social inclusion and Governance Programs Director, the Manager leads PLMI’s planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, in close collaboration with CILG-VNG International. S/he plays a key role in mobilizing Canadian municipal/association sector expertise to benefit Tunisian partners’ capacity development and to reach program objectives. The Manager also represents the project with the Canadian government and other key stakeholders while protecting FCM’s integrity and reputation. The PLMI was the first project of FCM approved under Global Affairs Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy. As such, the Manager, Women in Municipal Governance actively contributes to organize the knowledge base of FCM and to position the organization in this area of work.
