Wendake Village Visit
Wendake Village visit
This visit will take your guests into the spiritual and religious world of the Wendat. They will be led to meet the invisible and the sacred through a presentation of the Wendat cosmogony and its founding myth: "The legend of Aatentsic, the woman who fell from the sky".

Experienced staff will introduce them to Amerindian animist beliefs through practices that have survived for decades. Participants will be introduced to ceremonies, celebrations and rituals, including some that can still be seen today in Aboriginal communities.

Depending on the number of participants, it’s also possible to have a guided tour of the Huron-Wendat Museum with their exhibits “Territories-Memories-Knowledge”, “Mirror of a People”, The Works and Legacy of Zacharie Vincent, “Hatiyuwa:nenhs, the Great Men” Nicolas Vincent from Tsawenhohi, the Ekionkiestha’ National Longhouse, Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Mission, the Kabir Kouba falls and the Nation’s fresco.
