GMF Annual Report 2017-2018FCM's Green Municipal Fund (GMF) supports municipalities across the country in their sustainable community development goals, improving the quality of air, water and land, as well as reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. By investing up to $862 million in projects over nearly two decades, and reducing GHGs by 2.5 million tonnes — the equivalent to taking 571,000 cars off the road — GMF has helped to improve the quality of life for Canadians.

In the 2017-2018 annual report, we show how we continue to support municipal initiatives with significant environmental, economic and social benefits; connect sustainability leaders through networks and other opportunities; build local capacity; and demonstrate the impact of our knowledge resources, training and tools.
