Transcript

Following last year’s successful webinar, Destination Canada is back to host a new activity on the importance of intentional destination development. While last year’s webinar explored boosting the visitor economy, this year it will explore its impacts.

Welcoming visitors to your community may bring numerous benefits. However, when their experience doesn’t align with residents’ needs, it can negatively affect both guests and locals. That's why intentional destination development is becoming an important factor in the visitor economy.

Join Destination Canada and a panel of experts as they provide insights from three communities that have strategically shaped the type of visitation they seek, sharing how they measure the social return on their investment to ensure it matches their community's values.
