It is with great pleasure that I announce my candidacy for the position of 3rd Vice-President of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM).
Our cities and communities face many challenges on a daily basis, and we need to work diligently to find solutions in collaboration with the federal government. I feel strongly that our collective voices must be heard at the federal government level. As leaders of our municipalities, we must openly communicate with the federal government and strive for sustainable solutions and actions.
Since first being elected to Moncton City Council in 2012, I have worked very hard with the many residents, my fellow councillors, City of Moncton staff, and the provincial/federal governments to continue the growth of City of Moncton. By listening and working with these groups, we have seen many great projects succeed.
I was born and raised in Ward 1 and have represented its residents both as a councillor and as Deputy Mayor. I have had the unique privilege of contributing to the leadership of the City of Moncton and strive to make our city the best it can be.
I ask for your support for the position of 3rd Vice-President of the FCM. I would like the opportunity to contribute to the great leadership of the FCM. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time should you have any questions.

Pursuing a legacy
Following in the footsteps of my father, Norman Crossman, who passed away in March 2008. At the time of my father passing, he had served the City of Moncton for 42 consecutive years in municipal politics. My father served on the FCM's Board of Directors. He was also a recipient of the 2008 Roll of Honour award.
On June 5, I ask for your support while you attend the FCM's Annual General Meeting.
