The City of Victoriaville's innovative Sustainable Housing program (Habitation Durable) helps make environmental upgrades and energy-efficient construction more affordable and profitable. It supports construction projects by do-it-yourself builders and professional contractors with grants of up to $8,000 for a new single-family dwelling, up to $25,000 for a new apartment building, and up to $3,000 for renovations.
Find out how the program integrates many aspects of sustainable construction, including energy efficiency, environmentally responsible building materials, local procurement, water conservation, improved waste management, improved accessibility and more.
