Discover Terrebonne's Urbanova project — a sustainable neighborhood development project that was funded in part by FCM's Green Municipal Fund (GMF) and winner of the 2012 Sustainable Communities Award in the neighbourhood planning category.
Urbanova is an innovative approach that integrates sustainable development principles. It is an eco-friendly neighborhood, one of the largest in Canada, which departs from the traditional car-centered suburban model.
Learn how the project will help to preserve the natural environment as the integrated approach becomes a guiding concept. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about GMF funding for sustainable neighborhood development plans.
