FCM members taking action
How members are supporting the campaign
Our campaign is off to a great start thanks to the actions of many FCM members and individual local elected representatives.
Here's what some members are doing to support our campaign, and how you can get involved.
1. Pass a resolution on the #housingcrunch
Thank you very much to the following members for passing council resolutions endorsing the housing crunch campaign.
2. Tweet about the #housingcrunch
Thank you to members for posting hundreds of tweets about housing. It's easy to support the campaign on Twitter with our ready-made tweets - just two clicks to post!
We'll be adding new tweets throughout the campaign. You can also make up your own using the hash tag #housingcrunch! Or simply follow #housingcrunch and retweet those with which you agree!
3. Host a local #housingcrunch roundtable
Thank you to Halifax (November 19) for organizing the first in a series of local roundtable discussions on housing with community stakeholders.
These roundtables will help raise awareness of local concerns about housing affordability and the long-term sustainability of the Canadian housing sector. We will announce more municipal housing roundtables in the weeks ahead.
Are you interested in organizing a housing roundtable in your community? Contact Isaac Cockburn for information.
4. Start a local housing campaign
