We live in a time of profound change, change that has forced governments and businesses to transform the way they act. The Internet of Things (IOT) has thrived, allowing us to do things we never thought possible.

IoT is about extending the internet beyond smartphones and computers to a whole range of things like smart devices in fleets showing the exact location, temperature, emissions, and fuel levels.  On farms, IoT allows sensors to measure various data points remotely and provide this information to the farmer in real time saving time and resources.

Today, millions of IoT devices, collecting billions of data records, are enabling faster decision making with greater accuracy creating efficiencies and entirely smart cities and communities.

During a period of uncertainty, IoT lights the road ahead, keeping businesses going; even when the world was paused, IoT kept people, services and goods connected, while physically apart. IoT users are already reaping the rewards in various sectors like government, health, energy, manufacturing, agriculture, and organisations moving into automation are showing a significant boost in revenue.

Join Rogers, Clevercity and NoTraffic to hear about the meaningful impact smart solutions have and will have on the environment, infrastructure, public safety, and health in communities across Canada.
