OTTAWA – As preparations for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ (FCM) 2022 Annual Conference and Trade Show in Regina, Saskatchewan are underway, FCM is pleased to announce that the next editions of Canada’s biggest national gathering of municipal leaders will be held in Toronto, Ontario in 2023, in Calgary, Alberta in 2024, and in Ottawa, Ontario in 2025.

Every year, FCM’s Annual Conference and Trade Show offers municipal leaders a one-stop shop to explore how they can turn big ideas into better lives and better communities—for everyone—and also offers them the opportunity to network and engage directly with federal leaders, partners and suppliers.

This year’s edition in Regina, Saskatchewan will offer a unique hybrid format: participants will be able to live the full conference experience in person, with interactive workshops and study tours, keynote speeches, and more, or choose to join colleagues online to attend key conference features from anywhere in the country.

“From June 2 to June 5 in Regina, Canada’s municipal family will have its first opportunity to come together after more than two years, and I couldn’t be more excited,” said FCM President, Joanne Vanderheyden. “This is an event you do not want to miss. We are looking forward to reuniting with municipal leaders from across the country as we work together to build a better Canada.”

FCM’s annual conference is where municipal leaders will shape Canada’s recovery, and it’s where they can tool up for a strong recovery in their own communities. To be able to meet and envision together how they can lead a strong and inclusive recovery, municipal leaders can register here today.

The Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) unites 2,000 local governments at the national level, representing more than 90 per cent of Canadians in every province and territory.
